Unique Dubrovnik began as a love affair between Carol and the land of her heritage, Croatia.  From the first time she visited the Dalmatian Coast in 1971 there was an intense feeling of homecoming which grew through repeated visits.  After a 2007 journey exploring the coastal region in a small sailing vessel, Carol decided to act on this feeling and made her dream come true by making Dubrovnik her home.  She arrived in January 2008 and once again walked down the Stradun to her beloved ancestral home and the adventure truly began.
